The DLC was chartered in 1974 by the 7 shore line towns. Our mission is to provide leadership, guidance, and resources to preserve and restore Deal Lake and its tributaries as a healthy and stable ecosystem. In addition, control lake levels during heavy storms to the best of our ability with limited ocean tide controls.

    KNOW the Land Use regulations BEFORE you dig!

    The banks of Deal Lake are regulated and protected by the Dept. of Land Use.

    Typically any land 50 feet above the lake shore line falls under the Permit by Rule regulations. 7:13

    Teleconference Meetings
    You can watch Deal Lake Commission meetings on APTV, Optimum 77 and throughout most of Monmouth County on FiOS 30.

    DLC May 21st Zoom Teleconference

    Dear Deal Lake Advocate,

    The Deal Lake Commission will hold its Regular Meeting scheduled on May 21 and will begin at 7:00 pm via teleconference using the Zoom platform.
    This will allow citizens to participate in the meeting remotely.

    You can view and participate in the meeting in two ways; by video/audio or by audio only.

    If you choose to see the meeting this way, you need a computer, smart phone or tablet with internet access.
