OLD BUSINESS

1. Flood Hazard Risk Reduction Resiliency Grant Program – Update – Meeting in August with DEP. Letters of Support from Congressman Pallone and Congressman
Smith. More LOS are expected.

2. Beach Replenishment – Flume Electrification funded by ACoE. Ocean Twp. offered to handle RFP and management along with DLC. Need State and ACoE sign
off.

3. Sunset Avenue Bridge Replacement – Update – Monmouth University team ran sonar scan around and under the bridge

4. Bridge 11 (Interlaken to Loch Arbour) – Update – Monmouth University also tried to do sonar here, but could not get under the sewer pipe

5. Watershed Ambassador Report –

6. 319(h) Grant – Update

7. Railroad Letter – Update

8. Geese Problems – Need to work with Asbury Park

9. Organic Material Removal – Plans need to be drafted with Ocean Township for all water bodies west of Wickapecko

10. MTD Clean-Outs – Request list of devices within the watershed from all towns and listing as to when last cleaned.

11. Deal Lake Master Plan – Rewrite planned for end of year (will change based on results of DEP grant requests)

NEW BUSINESS

1. Relocation of Deal Lake Commission Meetings for the August, September, October 2016 Meetings

2. Sunset Lake Commission being proposed – How can the DLC help? DLC should offer technical advice and ensure the Asbury Park DLC representative is on the
Commission

3. Dock Question – Response is being prepared

4. Oil sheen reported in Terrace Pond – Instructed resident to call DEP hotline

5. Big Fish – Northern Pike – 2.5 – 3 foot caught in lake – video to be posted on website

6. Weeds

7. Dean Foods – DLC sent letter of concern to Ocean Township Planning Board. Cutting of trees and non-compliance with stormwater requirements

8. Meeting next month with John Tiedmann from Monmouth University on water testing

9. Dave Doffman – Wash out concerns in his backyard from Hollow Brook on Bimbler – Letter connecting him to key County and Township Departments was sent

10. Lawn irrigation question answered and posted.
